Denise, the creator of Lily Bernadette.com, is a writer, professional organizer, mother, survivor of an overproduced life and warrior for simplicity. She is also an award-winning radio and television writer/producer and former Associate Producer of the sitcom television series The Golden Girls. Her life used to revolve around “networking,” making money, spending money and buying nice things. Now it’s about simplicity; enjoying the quiet, “tuning in” to her children, acquiring less, using less, storing less and wanting less. She surrounds herself with good food, great friends, a loving family and her home is her sanctuary – a place where she and her family can retreat from the world to re-energize. Her goal is to teach people how to get “Soulfully Simple” - from relationships to home spaces to the spirit within. Her desire is to “blog forward” those experiences and lead people on a soulful journey from where they are now … to the other side of wherever they wish to be.
